Abstract

Cisco Systems, Inc. commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate the performance and Class of Service (CoS) capabilities of its 12000 Series Gigabit Switch Router (GSR) using OC-48c/STM-16 POS and Quad OC-12c/STM-4 POS line cards. The Tolly Group tested the routing throughput, CoS features and fault tolerance of GSRs when provisioned with these POS line cards. In addition, engineers benchmarked the total system performance of the 12012 GSR.
