Abstract

Huawei CloudEngine S12700E series switches are the flagship core switches in Huawei's CloudCampus portfolio. With the high- performance Versatile Routing Platform (VRP) software and the cell switching architecture, these feature-rich switches help users upgrade their traditional campus networks to become service experience- centric, intelligent, and simplified.

Tolly engineers verified performance, specifications, and functions of Huawei's CloudEngine S12700E series switches. CloudEngine S12700E series switches support Native AC (built-in WLAN Access Controller) to manage up to 10K (10,240) WLAN access points (APs) and 50,000 online users, achieving wired and wireless network/policy convergence. These switches come with 100GbE, 40GbE, 25GbE, 10GbE, and GbE interface cards, with the CloudEngine S12700E-12 model providing industry- leading 288 x 100GbE high-density ports.

Test results apply to all Huawei CloudEngine S12700E models, including the CloudEngine S12700E-4, CloudEngine S12700E-8, and CloudEngine S12700E-12.
