H3C S12500R Data Center Switch Router Performance Evaluation and Feature Validation

Abstract

With the rapid development of new-generation technologies such as 5G, cloud computing, and AI, the accelerated integration of information technology and traditional industries, data centers, as the physical carrier for the operation of information systems in various industries, have become indispensable for economic and social operations.

The S12500R series switch routers are developed by H3C for WAN, 5G bearer network and Data Center Interconnect (DCI) scenarios. It includes S12500R-48Y8C, S12500R-48C6D, S12504R, S12508R, S12516R, S12500R-2L, S12500R-2XL, S12508CR and S12516CR models. The S12500R-48Y8C and S12500R-48C6D models are fixed switches. Other models are chassis switches. Tolly engineers evaluated H3C S12500R series switch routers’ performance and validated their features.
