Abstract

Torres Networks commissioned Tolly to evaluate their IP Service Flow Manager (ISFM) 7120 appliances which are members of the 7100 family of products. The 7120 appliances are deployed at the WAN access point and provide bandwidth management/traffic shaping that improves the user experience for mission-critical applications.

Tolly engineers benchmarked the 7120’s traffic shaping across WANs running at various link speeds from T1 (1.544 Mbps) through 30 Mbps. Engineers also benchmarked the connection and throughput capacity of the appliance and evaluated its configuration and reporting capabilities.
