Abstract

In today’s lending environment, banks and mortgage companies seek higher loan quality and accuracy while examining how to reduce their overall cost to originate. In many cases, this goal is hard to achieve with the number of available systems that duplicate processes, leading to an inconsistent user experience and a drain on company resources. As a result, mortgage lenders are implementing streamlined processes, enabling more checks and balances through technology and providing real-time feedback to increase customer service and satisfaction.

Wipro Gallagher Solutions, Inc. (“Wipro or “WGS”) commissioned Tolly to evaluate the scalability and performance of their end-to-end loan origination platform, NetOxygen. Tolly engineers found that the NetOxygen Loan Origination System provides full loan management and origination functionality with fast processing times, even at high user loads.

Tests using Oracle Database were scaled to 20,000 simulated users originating over 3,000 peak hour loans, over 99% error-free, with an average screen change response time of 1.32 seconds. Tests using Microsoft SQL Server were scaled to 10,000 simulated users originating over 1,600 peak hour loans, over 99% error- free, with an average screen change response time of 1.05 seconds
