Products tested from the following vendors: Aironet Wireless Communications Inc, AT&T Global Information Solutions, Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC), Solectek Corp, and Xircom, Inc. (later Intel).

Testing benchmarked throughput between a WLAN client and LAN servers in both Netware 4.01 and Microsoft LAN Server 4.0 environments. 

Top performer was the solution from Digital Equipment Corporation.
