Abstract

C-Phone Corporation commissioned The Tolly Group to test its multiprotocol (H.320 and H.324) C-Station against two H.320 systems. Engineers benchmarked the quality differences between H.320 and H.324 videoconferencing products of the C-Station and PictureTel Corp.’s SwiftSite 700 and Polycom, Inc.’s ViewStation MP. Tests were conducted for audio/video clarity, video frame rate and color correctness. The C-Station demonstrated its ability to deliver higher frames per second than its competitors and superior synchronization between its audio and video. C-Phone Corp.’s product also showed that it is capable of delivering color correctness better than the other vendors tested.
