Abstract

Xirrus, Inc. commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate the resiliency and failover features of its IEEE 802.11a/b/g XS-3x00 family of Wi-Fi Arrays.

Tolly Group engineers deployed a set of Xirrus XS-3x00 Wi-Fi Arrays to evaluate the resiliency of its Wireless Distribution System (WDS) feature when configured in wireless-to-wireless and wireless-to-wired scenarios to illustrate the effectiveness of the Wi-Fi Array when broken links appear. Testing occurred in October 2006.
