Abstract
Wi-Fi 6 is the latest Wi-Fi standard and is widely used by new mobile devices. Compared with earlier standards, Wi-Fi 6 WLAN access points (APs) can provide higher bandwidth, a larger number of concurrent users, and lower latency.
Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. commissioned Tolly to evaluate the performance, IoT integration capability, and other features of its indoor Wi-Fi 6 APs, including AirEngine 8760-X1-PRO, AirEngine 6760-X1, AirEngine 6760-X1E, AirEngine 5760-51, AirEngine 5760-22W, and AirEngine 5760-22WD.
Performance test results show that Huawei AirEngine indoor APs provide excellent performance. The bridging throughput between two AirEngine 8760-X1-PRO APs on the 5GHz radio reaches 5.8Gbps, and the single-client (Huawei P40) performance of all tested APs is higher than 1.4Gbps.
