Abstract

Tolly engineers verified that Huawei iMaster NCE - Fabric can interoperate with VMware vCenter — a platform used to centrally manage VMware vSphere virtualization environments. VMM port groups created on Huawei iMaster NCE-Fabric are automatically synchronized to VMware vCenter as port groups of the vSphere Distributed Switch (VDS) for VM network configuration. After VMs select the port groups for network configuration, Huawei iMaster NCE-Fabric automatically configures tenant network switch devices to enable Layer 2 and Layer 3 communication between VMs. The test includes VM creation, cold migration, live migration, and data inconsistency discovery and elimination.
