Attachmate commissioned Tolly (formerly InterLAB) to evaluate the ease-of-use of it EXTRA! for Windows v. 4.0 and compare that to similar solutions from Digital Communications Associates (DCA), IBM, NetSoft, and Wall Data Inc.

A detailed taxonomy was created for this test. The study evaluated both end-user and system administrator functions. The composite score for Attachmate was significantly higher than any of the other vendors.
