Abstract

This test summary commissioned by Assured Access Technology, Inc. measures the effective throughput of the Assured Access X1000 RAC when forwarding close to 384 simultaneous data streams across V.90 (56Kbit) dial-up connections. Testing showed that by using compression, the Assured Access 1000 forwards over 106 Kbit/s of compressed ASCII data for a single client delivers in excess of 84 Kbit/s per client of compressed ASCII data for 369 clients and transmits 71% of the single-client throughput for 370 clients.
