Abstract:
Huawei AR G3 series enterprise routers (AG G3) are next-generation routers for enterprise networks based on Huawei’s proprietary Versatile Routing Platform (VRP). The AR G3 all-in-one router series integrates multiple services including: routing, switching, 3G/4G, WLAN, voice, and security functions in one device.
Huawei commissioned Tolly to benchmark the up to 40Mpps routing capability, security features (Smart Application Control (SAC), URL filtering, file type filtering, and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)), high availability, GSM/GPS/Beidou localization, Agile Branch features based on the Huawei Agile Controller (e.g. mobile app-based bar code scanning new device deployment), and SDN architecture with the Open Service Platform which provides one x86 server module for third-party applications.
Results show that the Huawei AR G3 routers provide high performance, easy management, secure Layer 3 access, high availability, and the Open Service Platform.
