Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate its VPN-Pro, an enterprise-class security solution that integrates firewall and VPN capabilities against two other enterprise products: a Cisco Systems, inc. PIX-535 and a NetScreen Technologies, Inc. NetScreen-500. Engineers subjected the devices to a battery of tests focusing on UDP firewall throughput, UDP VPN performance and a real-world mix of Layer 7 application traffic.
